Danny Zavitsanos, the co-owner of former New Zealand Cup winner for All Stars, Cruz Bromac, doesn’t have a standardbred in the stable at the moment-but he does have a thoroughbred.

After initially deciding to take a share in the Tivaci colt Mark bought at Karaka sales he has later moved to take full ownership of the youngster, who with his new stablemates is now headed for some serious education with Danny Frye at Balcairn.

“Danny and I get on well and I knew he had been active buying thoroughbreds in Australia most recently at the Magic Millions Sale” Mark said

“I asked him if he might be interested in what we were doing and he agreed to take a share in one of the horses. When it was this one he decided to take full ownership. He is a welcome addition to our team and our new project”

Danny is one of Victoria’s biggest harness owners based in Geelong and he has racd many topliners of both codes.including recent top performer Mach Dan. He is closely aligned with the hot Emma Stewart stable in his home area though has been associated with both Mark and Nathan in many successes -but until now ony with standardbreds.

PS That’s James holding the Tivaci youngster at the stable’s Friday-his great fave Self Assured is at present away in Auckland and this time James is not there with him.Looks like he has found a new friend ?
