As is usually the case Purdon Racing preferred a low key preview of its Cup Week armoury at the Addington trials on Wednesday.
VESSEM won, probably a reminder of what it feels like after some hard luck stories in recent starts. EYELINER, the only Lazarus offspring racing out of the stable so far, led up and was not kocked about late to be a close second while stable stars MILLWOOD NIKE and DON’T STOP DREAMING dropped back from the start in the main trial of 11 runner sprinting the last 200 in fine style. The young trotter WE CAN HAVE IT ALL got things wrong soon after the start and was the only one not racing according to plan though having good hitout in good style following the field in company.
