Sherlock (pictured winning the Sapling Stakes from With Style)- known as The Real Sherlock in Australia- made his Australian debut Wednesday and was untroubled to win at cramped odds..

With High Energy winning her debut in Shepperton Oaks on Friday on Friday, restoring same-night Transtasman wins to the Rolleston stable after a three year absence and High Step running second -to a five year old winner of $250,000 who ran home in 56 and 27-at the trials on Wednesday, things are humming on the campaign to date.

Unlike High Energy on Friday however, The Real Sherlock was not initially listed as the favourite is not the favourite to win his Vicbred Heat.

That honour went to High Above an Emma Stewart-trained Captain Treacherous  youngster  who has won three of his four starts and taken a 1.53 mile time though best winning stake is less than $15,000. However he was scratched from the event.

The race team is light at Addington this week as Sinbad continues his spring opportunities in competitive grades and Major Hot looks hard to beat this time.

Arden’s Memory is down to make his debut from a tricky gate though no rider had been declared on Tuesday. He is a Bettor’s Delight half brother to Arden’s  Ace and Laver both by Art Major.
