The trip to Australia by Akuta and Don’t Stop Dreaming has been put back by a week and means neither will make the Shepparton Cup.
“It will be straight into the Ballarat Cup ” Mark said yesterday “But it will just give them a bit more time especially for Don’t Stop Dreaming”
Nathan has been looking after the pair this week and felt Don’t Stop Dreaming could do with another week at this time.
“He is just a bit tender in front. He was when shod after Cup week and while it is not a problem from his upcoming racing point of view we just felt it was the better option”

“Akuta is not quite at peak after a little break but his fitness percentage is in the 90’s and I am confident he will go a big race.He is normally safe at the start so there should be no problems there”
