We Walk By Faith has been confirmed or the NSW Derby heats and final on March 1 and 8 at Menangle and will leave for Australia after the Harness Million meeting at Auckland this Friday when he runs in the Woodland Sales Draft three year old event.

The Australian-bred three year old was already pencilled in for the rich Nutrient Pacing Series  meeting in Melton in April for Nutrient Sales graduates with stakes in Finals worth over  $200,000. The Derby was always on the radar but only confirmed after assessing his return on a new campaign.

He trialled in impressive fashion at Pukekohe last week.The heats for the Derby are on Chariots of Fire night where Don’t Stop Dreaming will probably start favourite and the final on Miracle Mile night a week later where Don’t Stop Dreaming may feature in the main event.

We Walk By Faith was close to winning the Sires Stakes Final,won by Chase a Dream at Addington in November 14 and after winning three days later at the meeting took out the Group One Ace of Spades, his third victory in 6 starts.

We Walk By Faith was originally purchased by Nathan at the Nutrien Sales and he was later sold to Dennis Dunford, also known as “Mr Sires Stakes Finals” given his incredible record in such events, and his son Mark
